Drywall Repair in Las Cruces, NM
Holes, cracks and water-damaged ceilings repaired, textured to match and painted - after the leak is fixed.
What drywall repair looks like with us
A doorknob through the wall, a crack over a doorway, a ceiling stained by a leak - Willie repairs all of it so the wall is solid again and the patch can't be picked out once it's painted. With water damage he finds and fixes the source first, whether that is the roof, a parapet, a gutter or a pipe, because new drywall over an active leak is money thrown away.
What’s included
Why a patch shows through paint
Joint compound absorbs paint differently from the wall around it, so an unprimed patch flashes through as a dull or shiny spot. The texture has to match too. Feathering the edges, matching the texture and priming before the color coat is what makes a repair disappear.
Stains come back
Painting over a water stain without sealing it lets the stain bleed back through within weeks. And drywall that has been soaked usually has to be cut out rather than covered. Mention any history of leaks when you call.
From a customer who had this done
“Willie Isaacs recently performed some much needed problem solving for me in Las Cruces. The issue was one of water entering a home either through a roof or poorly designed gutters. Attempts had been made to right the situation by several other contractors. Interior drywall and exterior stucco were also involved. Within one visit he had diagnosed the situation and was ready with a solution. I appreciate his professionalism and skill.”
“I recently hired willie to do some drywall work and some stucco repairs and to paint the exterior of my home, He did a fantastic job. His experience really showed. I was very happy with everything he did. I recommend him to to anyone needing home repairs. !!!!!!!!!!!”
