Interior & Exterior Painting in Las Cruces, NM
Stucco exteriors, fascia, trim, patio ceilings and doors outside; walls, ceilings and trim inside.
What interior and exterior painting looks like with us
Painting is one of the fastest ways to make a house feel looked after, and one of the services Willie specializes in. Outside that means stucco walls, fascia, eaves, trim, patio ceilings and front doors; inside, walls, ceilings and trim. Because he repairs stucco, drywall and wood too, the surface is fixed before it is painted - which is what makes the finish last in high-desert sun.
What’s included
Desert sun is hard on paint
At close to 4,000 feet, Las Cruces gets intense UV most days of the year. South- and west-facing walls fade and chalk first, and wood trim and fascia dry out and crack. That's why prep comes first:
- Loose and peeling paint scraped and sanded.
- Cracked stucco patched and blended.
- Soft or split wood trim repaired or replaced.
- Gaps caulked and bare spots primed.
- Then the finish coats.
Older homes and lead paint
Houses built before 1978 may have lead paint under the newer coats. Federal EPA rules govern how anyone paid to sand or scrape those surfaces contains and cleans up the work - mention roughly when your house was built.
